@Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology - RTI Session

On January 6th, 2011, Sanjeevani conducted a RTI awareness session at Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology, Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad. The college management organized the session and invited Sanjeevani activists, Ganji Srinivas Rao and Abdul Azeez Shaik, to present. It was attended by an audience of over 300, comprising of both students and teachers.

The interactive session was a success, with students showing a keen interest in what RTI is and how it can be used. Amazingly enough, the students sat through the whole session of 90 minutes of their own accord and half of them stayed on even after it was announced that the college bus was leaving! About 30 of them stayed back after the session to interact further with Sanjeevani activists. It was pleasantly surprising for the activists to see the level of interest and awareness among the young generation. Photos from the event under the fold.
